Help and information
Frequently asked questions.
Clear answers about the resources, formats, licensing and digital delivery.
What is Care Made Simple?
Care Made Simple creates practical visual resources, planning tools, staff systems and downloadable templates for residential childcare practice.
Who are the resources for?
They are intended for residential childcare staff, key workers, teams and organisations. Some may also be useful to other people supporting children, subject to the product's stated licence and intended use.
Are the resources editable?
Editability depends on the product. Each product page will identify the supplied format and whether an editable version is included before purchase.
What formats are provided?
The exact supplied file format and whether an editable version is included will be stated on the relevant product page before purchase.
Can I use resources across a whole team?
A Team or Organisation licence may be required. Check the product licence and the Licensing page before sharing files across a service.
Can I change a resource for an individual child?
Where an editable file is supplied, it may be adapted within the permissions of the purchased licence. Always use appropriate professional judgement and individual planning.
Do these resources replace care plans or professional advice?
No. They are practical support tools and do not replace individual care plans, risk assessments, statutory guidance, clinical advice or professional judgement.
How do digital downloads work?
Once products are released, eligible orders will receive access to the files through the purchase confirmation and account area. Products still being prepared are not available for purchase.
Can organisations purchase licences?
Yes. Organisation licensing is part of the planned offer. Use the contact form for a discussion about intended scope.
Can Care Made Simple create bespoke resources?
Bespoke work is a future service. Enquiries can be discussed without sharing identifiable information about children or young people.
