About Care Made Simple
Practical care deserves practical tools.
Care Made Simple closes the gap between detailed plans and guidance—and what staff can actually use during an ordinary shift.
Why it exists
Residential childcare is full of moments that need clarity: a transition that feels uncertain, an everyday skill that needs breaking down, a key-work session that needs direction, or a team that needs a consistent approach.
The right resource should make those moments easier to understand and easier to support.
Clear enough for real life
Care Made Simple develops visual supports, planning tools and staff resources with readability, dignity and practical use at the centre.
Adaptable by design
Children, homes and support plans are different. Resources are created as flexible starting points—not one-size-fits-all answers.
Design principles
Clarity, consistency and dignity.
Visual clarity
Information is structured so children and staff can find the next useful step.
Frontline use
Tools are shaped around busy homes, changing needs and the realities of shift work.
Child-centred practice
Resources support communication and participation without replacing individual planning or professional judgement.
Founder
Created by Lwazi Sibanda.
Lwazi is a residential childcare key worker and educator with frontline experience supporting children with autism, learning disabilities, communication needs and complex presentations.
His work includes visual communication systems, independence programmes, therapeutic regulation, key-work planning, structured activities and multidisciplinary care coordination.
Care Made Simple grew from a simple idea: the resources used around children and staff should be clear enough to work in real life, not just look good on paper.
Care Made Simple resources are practical support tools. They do not replace individual care plans, risk assessments, statutory guidance, clinical advice or professional judgement.
